How to get there?
Numerous airlines (Ryanair, Vueling, SN Brussels Airlines, Tuifly, Transavia,...) fly to Malaga. Tip1: to fly cheaper, try to avoid weekends and school holidays. Tip2: if you cannot avoid school holidays, try to arrange your departure from airports within driving distance in regions or countries that have no school holidays at that time (for Belgians Eindhoven, for Dutch Ostend or Brussels etc...). In the airport of Malaga it is easy to rent a car (suggestions: Record Go, Goldcar, Malagacar, Delpaso, are all reliable). Tip3: When booking the car and its retrieval online do not allow yourself to be persuaded to take out any additional insurance for the car if you do not really want it. From the airport to Villa Alegre takes about 50 minutes. The final piece of the road runs into the mountains and winds to the top of the hill. You reach it perfectly with a normal car but take into account a steep mountain road at the end.
